NOTE:

Web statistics for subdomains and alternate domains are all compiled into one log file and processed as one site on the (gs) Grid-Service. You will have to view individual page statistics to view separate information for different sites. If you need full-fledged statistics for each domain, you can either open a separate server for each domain, migrate to a (dv) Dedicated-Virtual Server, or use a third-party software. See list below.

Built-in statistics for the (dv) 4.0

Here's how to access:

  1. Log into the Plesk Control Panel for your domain. See Figure 1:

Figure 1. The Plesk Control Panel. Click for a larger view.

    TIP:

If you log into Plesk with the admin user, you will be in the Server Administration Panel by default. To get to the Control Panel, click on Domains, then on the Control Panel link next to your domain.

You can also create a user that will log into the Control Panel by default, which will save you a few clicks on day-to-day webmaster tasks. See Control Panel user.

  2. From the Home page, click on Websites & Domains. See Figure 2:

Figure 2: Click on the "Websites & Domains" tab.

  3. Next, click on Web Statistics. When prompted to login, use your FTP login credentials. See Figure 3 for the location of this icon.

Figure 3: Click the icon to view your statistics in a pop-up window.

Figure 4: Click for larger view. This will open a new window for your browser. Please ensure that you have not blocked pop-up windows for your domain.

  4. The statistics log rotation is set in the Service Plan on which your domain is hosted. For more information, please see: Parallels Plesk Panel 10.4: Administrator's Guide - Hosting Plans and Subscriptions.
