Logging into the AccountCenter

Overview

The following guide will provide information about the AccountCenter authentication process, and how to reset your login information. The following information is also used for authorization when you contacting our Support Department by telephone.

Access the AccountCenter

The AccountCenter is available at https://ac.mediatemple.net. The screen looks like Figure 1.

  • Primary Domain - This can be the primary domain for any of your services, or any domain that you may have registered on the account.
  • Primary Email Address - This will be the email address you provided when your account was created. We strongly recommend using an outside email address such as hotmail, yahoo, or gmail address whenever possible in the event that you cannot access your email associated with your (mt) Media Temple hosted service.
  • Password - This password is only used for the AccountCenter and authentication for support. You can reset it via the Contacts section inside the AccountCenter.

Reset your password

The following steps will show you how to recover your AccountCenter password:

  1. Visit the AccountCenter.
  2. Click on Forgot your Password.
  3. Provide your Primary Domain and Email Address.
  4. Click on Recover.
  5. Now, check your email for your AccountCenter login information.

Troubleshooting FAQs

What if I don't know my Primary Domain or Primary Email Address to reset my password?

If you are an authorized contact on the account and unable to reset your password, you will need to call our Billing Department at (877) 578-4000, option 3. Our Billing Department is open from 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm weekends, Pacific Time.

Once you call, you may need to provide any of the following information to be authorized:

  • Your Full Name, Primary Domain, and Primary Email Address.
  • Your Billing Information. This may include billing address, credit card number and expiration date, etc.
  • You may also be asked to fax or email a copy of the Account Owner Verification form with a photo I.D. You can download this PDF form here, then fax to (310) 388-0929 or email us.

Are cookies required?

Yes, cookies are required to log into the AccountCenter. You may encounter an error despite having cookies enabled on your browser. Try synchronizing/setting your clock and time-zone settings.

Mac

  • From the Apple menu, open System Preferences.
  • Under System, click on Date & Time.
  • In the Date & Time tab, make sure the box is checked for Set date and time automatically; see Figure 3.

  • Click on the time on your task bar.
  • Under the tab Internet time, click on Change date and time settings.
  • Make sure the box is checked for Synchronize with an Internet time server, see Figure 4.
