How do I set up email on an Android phone?

The following article will guide you through configuring your email on an Android device.

Configure your Android device

Let's begin!

  1. Open your email client.
  2. Enter your full email address and password, see Figure 1.

  3. On the User ID tab, enter your information as shown in Figure 2.

  4. For the Incoming tab, we recommend IMAP and using your access domain for the incoming server. See Figure 3 as an example.

  5. For the Incoming tab, we recommend using IMAP for the incoming server. See Figure 3 as an example.

  6. Be sure to leave un-checked: Use secure connection and Verify Certificate, see Figure 4.

  7. For the Outgoing tab, we recommend using your access domain for the SMTP server, see Figure 5.

  8. For the Outgoing tab, you can use your domain or IP address for the SMTP server. See Figure 5 as an example.

  9. Just like in step 4 for the Incoming server, be sure to leave un-checked: Use secure connection and Verify Certificate, see Figure 6.

  10. Click Ok and you're done.
