What's different in version 3.2?
WordPress has new minimum system requirements: PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL 5.0.
How do I know if my site is ready?
In order to update, your site needs to have recent PHP5 and MySQL5 versions. Here's how:
-
Make sure you're using PHP5. Read this article for more information: How can I specify the PHP version for web applications on the (gs) Grid-Service?
You may see this error:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /nfs/c0X/hXX/mnt/000000/domains/example.com/html/wp-includes/load.php on line 566 - Make sure you're using MySQL5. This can be found inside of PHPMyAdmin. Please see this article for details: Managing a MySQL database with phpMyAdmin.
