Overview

The AccountCenter contains a powerful and easy-to-use tool to create redirects for your (gs) hosted domains. This simple GUI, graphic user interface, allows you to create a 301 Redirect command and writes it to the .htaccess file on your (gs) Grid-Service. You can learn more here.

Instructions

  1. Sign into your AccountCenter.
  2. Click on your primary domain or the Admin button to the right of your domain name.
  3. From the (gs) Grid-Service Control Panel, click on the Redirect Domains icon. See Figure 1:

  4. On this screen, enter the FULL URL in the Redirect to: field. See Figure 2:

  6. The page refreshes and now lists your redirects, see Figure 3:

  7. That's it! You have created your redirect. To test, point your browser to movethisdomain.com. You will be automatically redirected to blog.gs-example.com.

    TIP:

Be sure to use your domains. The domains, movethisdomain.com and blog.gs-example.com, are examples only.
