How do I change a web user's password?

Overview

Web users allow you to you restrict access to a directory on your (gs) Grid-Service.

Requirements

You will need to already have a Password Protected Directory with a web user. For more information, please see this article: Password protecting directories.

Instructions

  1. Log into the AccountCenter.
  2. From the Overview page or Domains tab, select the domain you want to edit. See Figure 1.

  3. Click on the icon Password Protected Folders icon. See Figure 2.

  4. In the Web Users section, click the edit icon for the web user you'd like to modify. See Figure 3.

  5. Enter your password twice, then click the save button. Be sure to use a strong password. See Figure 4.
